United Methodist Women
Trenholm Road’s United Methodist Women is a group of loving, caring women of all ages with many gifts who are unified by one Spirit. Through time, prayer and gifts, their focus is to grow in Christ, care for and support each other and care for others through both local missions and global missions of the church.
Trenholm Road UMW has four General Meetings a year which include three luncheons and one dinner with featured inspirational speakers, sponsors an annual Mother-Daughter Banquet and supports five local missions: St. John’s Island Mission, the Wallace Life Center, Killingsworth Home, Bethlehem Center in Columbia and Bethlehem Center in Spartanburg.
In addition, Trenholm Road UMW has eight individual Circles. These Circles support the overall missions and activities of United Methodist Women as well as their own individual missions, projects and opportunities for spiritual growth including inside and outside speakers, Bible study and fellowship.
